Neo Counter X800 is an inline Xray SMT Reel Counter. It can work with AGV for material loading and unloading.Component quantity for specific reel will be stored into database and even upload to user’s IT system whatever MES/ERP, etc.Label with component quantity info. can be generated,printed and automate relabel on the required reels.

Component type

Neo Counter, Xray SMT Reel Counter, can work with many components in different packaging with the latest AI counting technology. Neo Counter can work with the minor component like 01005, and large ones PLCC, SOT, QFP, SOT, connector, odd form etc. even those components in the special package like the tube, MBB (Moisture Barrier Bag) can also be counted.

Inline Xray Component Counter

Neo Counter, the inline X-ray component counter ,can receive materials from an automated guided vehicle (AGV) or manually loaded by a trolley. The materials are picked up by a robotic arm and sent to the counter for counting. After the counting process, the software records the results and automatically prints a label with the correct quantity. This label is then attached to the surface of the reel. A stacker then stacks the materials before being unloaded by the AGV or trolley. This process ensures accurate counting, efficient labelling, and streamlined material handling, making it a convenient way of managing electronic component inventory.

Batch material handling

Advantages of batch material handling include cost savings (e.g., by reducing the need for frequent material replenishment), improved inventory management, and the ability to customize or batch process materials for specific orders or customers. It can also be more efficient than continuous material handling in some cases, as it allows for the storage of larger quantities of materials that can be used or shipped out as needed.

Relabeling

Label with component quantity info. can be printed right after the operator unload any reel from SMT Reel Counter. Users can also build their label template, size, field information that could be added and modified at any time. Multi data code in the format of 1D/2D is also supported by NeoX

Material Sorter

The material sorter is an add on to Neo Counter X800. Electronics components from the warehouse, production lines have different destinations: different manufacture order, job, SMT line.  With the help of vision system, we can identify the material code and divert them to a specific area for further operation. The material sorter can be added before and after the counting process.

AGV ready

AGV: Automated Guided Vehicle. AGV can help SMT manufacturers realize unmanned transport operations for SMT reels, PCB, containers. Neo Counter X800 provides loading/unloading port for AGV connection purposes. AGV can supply a group of SMT reel materials to SMT reel counter like X800.

Traceability

Traceability is becoming important in electronics manufacturing. Control movement of electronics components in and out wherever processed in Neo Counter or stored at Neo Light/SMD BOX and placed in the production line. High data grain level material is achieved with the help of traceability module in SMF. Component Reel ID, the counting image could be stored in the database for future verification. The traceability module in our system meets with IPC-1782(Standard for Manufacturing and Supply Chain Traceability of Electronic Products)
