Siemens HS50 SMT machine is equipped with 4 XY main cantilevers. Each rack has a star-shaped 12-nozzle pick-and-place head. The placement head takes turns to pick up parts from the fixed feeder and place them on the fixed PCB board. Its features are as follows:

1. All sizes of parts tapes can be filled by joining the new tape behind the tape that is about to run out. This eliminates downtime caused by parts filling.

2. Fixed, shock-proof feeders ensure reliable picking, even for the smallest parts (such as 0201 and 0402 chips).

3. Due to the flexibility of the 12-nozzle placement head (its ideal nozzle setting and automatic assignment), the moving distance is reduced to a minimum, thereby optimizing the order of placement.
