This is Seica's response to the ongoing need to test flexible PCBs, which are rapidly spreading to the consumer electronics, automotive, medical, smart home industries and other industries. RAPID H4 FLEX is a flying pin tester on the market that can test flexible PCBs produced in large reels. In order to minimize costs and increase productivity, some high-volume flexible circuit board manufacturers have installed production lines dedicated to the production of continuous roll (roll-to-roll) circuits.

system structure

The overall system consists of three main components listed below.

Load area: It features a main winder with a roller frame spindle, followed by a traction device with an air brake.

Test area: The flexible circuit board lacks structural rigidity and requires the use of a general-purpose vacuum table. Therefore, RAPID H4 FLEX is equipped with a vacuum tray installed in the work area and a vacuum pump/blower. In addition, the tester is equipped with a press mold, which can automatically mark bad foils after the test procedure.

Unloading area: It features a traction device with an airlock to control the feed of material, and an output assembly with calibrator and main retractor with 3 "and 6" roller frame spindles.

VIVA NEXT software and MES integration options

Like any other Seica solution, the RAPID H4 FLEX NEXT test system uses the VIVA NEXT platform, which provides two authentication methods managed through Seica's proprietary graphical editor MY VIEW:

1. Standard Windows authentication.

2. The new "VIVA user authentication", through which customers can select users with different permissions.

Since the customer manages production and logistics through MES software, Seica RAPID H4 FLEX can be connected to the customer's MES (Manufacturing Execution System). Through its proprietary integration mechanism, Seica is compatible with all customer MES platforms.
