HITACHI’s Sigma G5 is available in both High Speed and Flexible High Speed configurations.

The G5 features a two-head placement system that offers the most flexibility in a single high 

speed head and a multi-function head; two quick-change feeder bases that accommodate tape 

and stick feeders or quick change tray unit with tape feeders; and the industry’s first "Overdrive

Control System" whereby both heads can pick from each other’s component supply and

place on the same board simultaneously and without restriction.

for the manufacture of DIS Ignition Modules, Solid State Relays, Remote Start Relays, 

MAP sensors and other automotive electronics parts. These products are manufactured 

for sales and distribution directly by SMP sales force, to the original equipment,

original equipment service and traditional market channels. At this SMP electronics facility, 

highly automated and flexible production lines and advanced processes can produce

over 110 different modules and up to three-quarters of a million modules annually

Compact Premium Modular Mounters SIGMA-G4 and SIGMA-G5 achieve high productivity

and linear motor driven XY beams. SIGMA-G4 and SIGMA-G5 allow you to quickly change the

head units and tray units so that you can flexibly handle changes of component types. 

These mounters offer significantly improved maintenance such as easy cutter unit detachment.
